Kel Murphy received his undergraduate and law degrees from Florida State University.
Kel graduated magna cum laude from the Florida State
University Honors program in 2005. He graduated in the top 3% of his
class at Florida State University College of Law, and also served as a
member of the FSU Law Review. While in law school, Kel received a
book award for his academic success in the area of Criminal Procedure.
He spent the summer of 2007 as in intern at the Tallahassee Office of
the Public Defender, and was recognized by FSU for his commitment to
providing Pro Bono legal services to those unable to afford legal
representation.
After graduating, Kel worked in Pensacola as an Assistant Public
Defender where he gained valuable jury trial experience representing
indigent citizens charged with violating Florida law. He currently
works in Michles & Booth's Worker's Compensation Division.
