Medical Department

Many of the types of cases we try at Michles & Booth require an up-to-date understanding of specific areas of medical science.  These cases include:

  • Medical Malpractice
  • Personal Injury
  • Wrongful Death
  • Defective Drugs (Pharmaceutical)
  • Nursing Home Abuse
  • Worker’s Compensation

In order to better prepare your case, the attorneys at Michles & Booth have implemented a Medical Department, headed by a full time, licensed, board certified physician, Dr. Timothy Brooks.

Dr. Brooks conducts preliminary reviews of all cases, coordinates medical experts and assists in trial preparation.  Dr. Brooks has 27 years experience in the medical field and 14 years experience in medical malpractice case review and analysis.

Some of the tools utilized by the Medical Department include the ability to review your case with thousands of medical experts in all areas of medicine; the use of digital medical records and x-rays to better review and transmit data; the design of case specific demonstrative aids to better educate jurors; the use of video conferencing to discuss cases with experts and a secure portion of our web site dedicated to faster and better communication with medical experts and providers.

“Medical Malpractice cases are difficult to win.  Dr. Brooks and our Medical Department provide us a significant edge to better represent our clients.”

Marcus J. Michles, Attorney at Law

“Medical procedure and pharmaceuticals are changing on a daily basis.  Keeping up with those changes and applying that information to our cases is just one of the features provided by the Medical Department.”

Timothy D. Brooks, MD

We are the only law firm in the Gulf Coast to have a full time in-house physician directed Medical Department.  You will find few firms with this degree of dedication to their clients.  This is just one of the benefits you have by selecting representation by the law firm of Michles & Booth.
