In 2009 John graduated from Chicago-Kent law school with honors. While in school he was named a Board of Directors Scholar and interned with a federal Magistrate Judge. After graduation, John accepted a position with a national litigation firm specializing in medical malpractice defense and other forms of catastrophic loss. For the next five and a half years, he represented hospitals, long-term care facilities, physicians and business owners in various forms of personal injury litigation. During this time, John accepted the opportunity to spearhead a new office for that firm in Pensacola, FL, which he opened and grew for several years. While representing corporate defendants, John gained insights and critical experience that he now puts to use for his clients seeking to recover from similar defendants.
John is particularly proud of his pro-bono experience representing indigent clients in the Northern District of Illinois for the Chicago Lawyer’s Committee for Civil Rights Under the Law.
